Search API on its own web index, built for AI agents and RAG. Results can include full text, highlights or summaries, and there are answer, research and company and people search endpoints. The API needs a key; the hosted MCP server has a keyless mode.

What you can do with it

• Get full text, highlights or summaries from known URLs
• Build lists of companies and people with the Exa Agent

Get started

1. Create an API key in the Exa dashboard
2. Send it as a Bearer token
