Simple HTTP API at api.qrserver.com from goQR.me that returns a QR code image for any text and decodes the first QR code found in an uploaded image. No key or sign-up; there is no request limit, but abusive traffic may be blocked. It reads QR codes only, not barcodes.
What you can do with it
- Generate a QR code image in PNG, SVG or EPS for a URL or any text
- Decode the QR code in an uploaded photo or screenshot
- Embed QR codes in pages or emails with a plain image link
Get started
- Call create-qr-code with URL-encoded data and a size
- POST an image file to read-qr-code to decode it
