About

LiveKit Agents is an Apache-2.0 framework for Python and Node.js that runs voice agents in LiveKit rooms and phone calls. It chains STT, LLM and TTS plugins or uses realtime speech models. Agents run on your servers or on LiveKit Cloud, which has a free plan.

Get started

Install the LiveKit CLI and link a free cloud project with lk cloud auth
Create an agent from the Python or Node.js starter template
Run it with lk agent dev and talk to it in the Agent Console
