About

OMDb (the Open Movie Database) is a RESTful API for movie and series information, maintained by its users. A free key, sent by email, allows 1,000 requests a day; patrons get more and the Poster API. Content is CC BY-NC 4.0; OMDb is not affiliated with IMDb.

What you can do with it

Look up a movie, series or episode by title or IMDb ID, with a short or full plot
Search titles by name, filtered by movie, series or episode and by year
List the episodes of a series season by season number

Pass the key as the apikey query parameter
