About

The US SEC's data.sec.gov APIs return each filer's submission history and XBRL facts from 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and other forms as JSON, updated in real time. No key is needed, but you must send a User-Agent with contact details and stay under 10 requests a second.

What you can do with it

• List a public company's recent 10-K, 10-Q and 8-K filings by CIK
• Pull reported financial facts like revenue or assets across all filings
• Compare one XBRL concept across every company for a given period

Get started

1. Look up the company's 10-digit CIK, with leading zeros
2. Send a User-Agent header with your name and email
