- Access
- Interline API key
About
Transitland aggregates transit feeds for REST and GraphQL queries of operators, stops, routes and schedules. All APIs need a key; REST has a limited free plan and GraphQL is paid. Feed coverage varies. Its separate paid transit-routing service covers the US.
What you can do with it
- Find nearby public-transit stops and their scheduled departures
- Query GTFS routes, operators and feeds for a transport app
- Retrieve stop schedules from aggregated transit-feed data
Get started
- Choose a free or paid Interline subscription and get its API key
- Send the key in the apikey header when querying the REST API
- Check feed coverage, update times and source-feed licenses
Example
curl -H "apikey: $TRANSITLAND_API_KEY" \
"https://transit.land/api/v2/rest/stops?lat=37.789&lon=-122.401&radius=500"Details
