About
Open-source C++ route optimization engine (BSD-2-Clause) for TSP, capacitated VRP, time windows, multi-depot and pickup-and-delivery problems. You run it yourself, usually with the vroom-express HTTP wrapper in Docker, on top of an OSRM, Valhalla or openrouteservice routing server.
What you can do with it
- Self-host a route optimization server for delivery fleets with Docker
- Solve multi-vehicle routing with time windows, capacities and driver breaks
- Optimize pickup and delivery routes on your own OSRM or Valhalla server
Get started
- Run a routing server such as OSRM, Valhalla or openrouteservice
- Start vroom-docker with VROOM_ROUTER pointing at it
- POST vehicles and jobs as JSON to vroom-express on port 3000
Example
curl http://localhost:3000 \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"vehicles":[{"id":0,"start":[2.3526,48.8604],"end":[2.3526,48.8604]}],
"jobs":[{"id":0,"location":[2.3691,48.8532]},{"id":1,"location":[2.2911,48.8566]}]}'Details
