About

Miro is a hosted infinite-canvas whiteboard for brainstorming, diagramming and workshops. Developers build on it with a REST API and OAuth 2.0 apps, a Web SDK for in-board apps, and an official MCP server so AI agents can read and edit boards, free teams included.

What you can do with it

  • Read and update sticky notes, shapes and frames on a board through the REST API
  • Build an in-board app with the Web SDK that reacts to board events
  • Turn a Miro board's diagrams and notes into code or docs via the MCP server

Get started

  1. Register an app in the Miro Developer Platform to get a client ID and secret
  2. Complete the OAuth 2.0 authorization code flow to get an access token
  3. Call the REST API, or add Miro's hosted MCP server to an AI agent
