About

Telegram's official HTTP interface for bots, which you create and manage through @BotFather. Bots message users at no cost up to about 30 messages per second; faster broadcasts cost Telegram Stars. An open-source local server raises the upload limit to 2,000 MB.

Send alerts and messages to a Telegram chat, group or channel
Build a chatbot that replies to commands and inline buttons
Receive user messages through webhooks or long polling

Get started

Create a bot with @BotFather and copy its token
Message your bot, then read your chat ID from getUpdates
