Google Maps Platform offers map display, geocoding, Places search, routing, time zone lookup and related APIs, plus map SDKs for web, Android, iOS and Flutter. Each SKU has a monthly free usage cap, then bills per 1,000 events; a Cloud project needs a billing account.

Get started

Create a Google Cloud project with billing enabled
Enable the Geocoding or Time Zone API for the task you need
Create an API key under APIs & Services > Credentials
